Navy COOL presents key components of the U.S. Navy’s Credentialing Opportunities On-Line (COOL) website in a user-friendly application. Serving as a toolbox – or COOLbox – this app equips Sailors and other users with a comprehensive set of credentialing and career resources to aid them in making well-informed decisions for professional growth during and beyond their time with the Navy. The tools offered by Navy COOL encompass valuable insights for enlistment decisions, career progression guidance, in-Service certification opportunities, and a glimpse into potential professions post-Navy service transition.

• Navy COOL's range of tools caters to a diverse audience, including Navy applicants, current Sailors, transitioning personnel, Veterans, counselors, recruiters, credentialing bodies, employers, and more. The app is designed to accommodate both military and civilian individuals, focusing solely on public content without necessitating authentication or authorization.

By utilizing Navy COOL, Navy Service members can access pertinent information regarding certifications, licenses, and Department of Labor-registered apprenticeships aligned with their roles. The app provides detailed data on:

• Credentials linked to specific Navy ratings, designators, and additional duties
• Credential prerequisites and any potential disparities between Navy training and civilian credential requirements
• Available resources to bridge gaps between military training and civilian credential mandates

Upon opening the app, users are prompted to select an Enlisted rating or Officer designator along with any collateral duties. This choice allows Navy COOL to filter content specifically applicable to the user's selections.

• Learning and Development Roadmaps (LaDRs), now incorporating the new OaRS section for career advancement
